How do I uninstall Lima for Linux?

If you want to remove all user data, start by running lima uninstall. Note that if you do this you will permanently lose all the files that have not been uploaded to your Lima yet.

After that, you can uninstall Lima using your package manager. For instance, on Ubuntu, run sudo dpkg -r lima. If you used the tarball, just remove the extracted directory.

If you forgot to run lima uninstall but still want to remove user data, just delete the ~/.local/share/lima directory.
